Need More Current?

iPIO-8 Relays support 0.5A @ 120VAC or 1A @ 24VDC (See full specifications).

If larger current capacity is required, add the ELK-912-2 relay board to support 7A @ 30VDC 10A @125VAC.

If switching even higher current A/C then use the iBoot-IO for 12A.

The iPIO-8 is a network attached, IP addressed digital input and output device. The iPIO-8 can be controlled and monitored with a standard web browser. Multiple ipIO-8 devices can communicate amongst themselves to transport I/O information across the network.        Highly flexible telemetry systems can be developed with these simple devices.  Dataprobe can also taylor Custom and OEM applications for your specific needs from this flexible development platform.

This unit replaces the COE-8 series.
We offer a firmware package that emulates the COE-8 for legacy systems.

Operation

Simple Web Browser Control and Monitoring

The Status and Control web page provides real time status of the inputs, outputs and remote iPIO unit connections.

The top of the page indicates the location reference, which is user settable.

Each input, output and remote device is defined by a user selectable name. Inputs and outputs can also be assigned names for Open and Closed statuses, as well as background and text colors for each. All configurations are accomplished via the setup tab at the top of the screen.

If the iPIO-8 is programmed to communicate with additional units, each remote unit will be displayed at the bottom of the page. Each remote site displays red or green, indicating connection status.

Easy Web Setup

All configuration parameters are set up using the clean web browser interface. Each location, input, output and remote device can be user named for easy identification. Open and Closed status for both inputs and relay outputs use user selectable colors for quick identification and instant understanding of your entire network.

All Status, Control, and Setup functions are password protected. Two levels of password access restrict setup functions to administrators only.

Configure multiple SNMP managers and email notification addresses to give you immediate notification of any event.

Monitor and Control Utility

The iPIO Monitor and Control Utility (MCU) is included for management of multiple iPIO systems.

Each unit displays its status inputs and the relay outputs can be controlled. A log file of all activity of all units is kept for record keeping and review.

iPIO Open Protocol

iPIO-8 units communicate using Dataprobe's Exchange Protocol (DxP). This protocol is published for system designers to use to integrate the iPIO into their own software applications.

iPIO web controlled relays. Remote control eight relays and monitor eight status inputs.

Transport Digital I/O across ethernet networks with IP protocols using the ipIO.  Configure pairs of ipIO units to monitor up to eight digital inputs, any changes in status appear at the other end of the network as eight relay outputs.

The ipIO provides constant link supervision, alerting you to link failure, so you always know you system is operational before it is needed.

ipIO links are bi-directional, so events in either location are reflected at the other site.

One digital input can trigger relay controls at multiple remote locations. Imagine one alarm input triggering events throughout your network, in the same building, or across the globe.

Any Input to Any Output
One input can control mutliple remote outputs at up to 32 locations. iPIO-8 alarm event distribution.

Events from multiple locations can be consolidated to a central alarm point. Digital inputs from any iPIO unit can be mapped to the relay output of any other.    Where multiple inputs are mapped to a single relay, the relay always reflects the last changed status of any of the inputs.
